1927 - Great grandpa Max Marsh established Marsh Tile and Vault Company. With a small plant located in Vernon, their specialty was small pipe manufacturing and burial vaults.
1931 - Max began offering cemetery monuments too.
1942 - Max passed away, but his sons Richard and Fred carried on the family business.
1943 - the cemetery monuments would now be offered under the new Marsh Monument Company.
1950 - Richard's sons Gary and Jack, along with Fred's son Dan, had become involved in the family business.
1984 - Gary and his wife Linda purchased the monument part of the business and moved to our current location in Durand.
Currently the fourth generation of the Marsh family, Melissa and Michael, here to serve your family.
To this day we still do all of our own work at our Durand location. This includes Etchings, Designs, Lettering and so much more!
Which would you choose? The first and third flower shows a shapecarved design versus a flat design. At Marsh, shapecarving is a standard not an extra fee.
